Hi everyone I'm new here. I'm dog sitting for a friend .Hope everyone had a good xmas..I miss have little kids Xmas was so much more fun back then. I'm looking forward to new years eve an excuse to eat junk food. Where I live it's a senior bldg so our new years is watch the ball drop in new York then go to bed so I guess exciting huh? when you get old thats all the excitement we need. I miss having little kids at Christmas too. I sometimes feel sad looking back at all the fun we had and how quiet it is now. But I am proud of myself for giving my kids great Christmas fun thru the years. I really have no family left and The few I do have are too far away to visit. This year I decided not to unpack the old Christmas decor and play remember when. I went to the local thrift and designed a new Christmas look for my house. It felt so much better and turned out to be a great holiday.
