Bonanza​

On January 16, 1973, Bonanza rode off into the sunset after 14 incredible seasons. The show wasn’t just another Western—it was a family drama, a morality tale, and a cultural touchstone. From the rugged landscapes of the Ponderosa Ranch to the heartfelt stories of the Cartwright family, Bonanza redefined the genre. Starring Lorne Greene, Michael Landon, Dan Blocker, and Pernell Roberts, the show left a lasting legacy. It was also the first Western to be broadcast in color, making those sweeping frontier scenes even more breathtaking. Even today, reruns and spin-offs keep its spirit alive. Way back then we had evening services at church. I always hoped that the service would end in time to get home and see Bonanza from the beginning . My favorite character was ADAM., but I also enjoyed the programs when WAYNE NEWTON was on.
