Candy Bar Named After A Horse
Back in the 1930s, the Mars family—creators of some of the most iconic sweets—built Milky Way Farm, where they bred cows and horses. When they needed a name for their new chocolate, caramel, and peanut creation, they chose to honor a beloved horse that had recently passed away.
And that horse’s name was… Snickers!
That’s right; it wasn’t named after a funny sound or a playful giggle!
