Chicken in a Biskit

Do you remember this crunchy classic from the snack aisle? Chicken in a Biskit hit store shelves in the 1960s and quickly became a pantry favorite with its bold, chicken-flavored crunch. Packaged in a bright blue box with a certain snazzy rooster on the front, this snack was a staple in lunchboxes, parties, and road trips. Did you grow up snacking on this?

I remember one treat that was usually a bribe at the grocery store. If I was good while shopping with my mom then I would get a box of Animal Crackers. That was a BIG deal back in the 60s and early 70s! Another good bribe was Cracker Jacks. Loved digging for the prize which was usually some little plastic trinket of no value. But half the fun was in finding the treasure!
