Did You Grow Up With These?

Alright, GrayViners, it's time for a tasty trip down memory lane. Take a good look at this deli mystery: thinly sliced, dotted with green olives and red pimento bits, and packed with more nostalgia than a school lunch from the '60s. Do you remember what this was called at your local counter? Let us know below. What’s the most nostalgic item you’ve stumbled across recently? Share your finds in the forum!

Olive Loaf, I loved it. Another deli meat you don't see often is Old Fashion Loaf. I hadn't seen it in years, but last week I was at Von's deli, and there peeking around the bologna, was old fashion loaf. I bought a pound and it's gone!

I say it’s olive loaf. We didn’t get this in my childhood. I didn’t have any until the early 70’s. My husband was raised with it and bought some from the deli for himself and for me to try. I love balony and olives but not combined together. Yucky! My husband makes his own variety of it. He gets baloney and Spanish olives with pimentos. Makes baloney sandwiches with the sliced olives and sunshine mustard
