Do You Know What This Is Called?​

Friends, Romans, countrymen… It’s time to rise and shine! Ally here, bringing you a little brightness this morning. I had a bizarre dream last night where I was back in school and tasked to control this old machine in the classroom. It whirred softly, cast a glow on the screen, and with every beep, someone had to turn the knob to advance the next frame. I forgot what it’s called, though. Do you know its name? Let me know below!

Projector, you put slides in, one at a time, or fancy a circle of slides that you could twist into place.

It’s a film strip projector. Most often a student from the AV club got to advance the strip to the next one when the teacher gave the signal. That wasn’t the club for me. I was into music. Marching band in the fall for football games, pep band in the stands for basketball games, practice for concert band and the orchestra! That was my jam!
