Does this odd little fellow look familiar?

He popped up during Saturday morning cartoons with a voice like a squeaky balloon and energy that could rival a sugar rush. This quirky character is Timer, the unforgettable health mascot from the Time for Timer animated PSAs that aired on ABC in the 1970s. He starred in a series of shorts that encouraged kids to make smart snack choices—from cheese-and-cracker “wagon wheels” to frozen orange juice pops. Always bursting with energy and advice, Timer made nutrition feel like part of the fun. Did you ever follow one of his snack tips? We’d love to hear your story in the comments!
