General Discussion Thread 01.17.2025
Hey everyone!
Welcome to today’s General Discussion Thread! I hope the day is treating you kindly. I just wanted to share this book called The Dip by Seth Godin. It's a short book that talks about quitting. Specifically, knowing when to quit. In it, the author talks about a "dip", which is a period of time when life gets a little too overwhelming and difficult, and we might find ourselves wanting to quit hobbies, work, or passion projects. It may not sound like the most encouraging or inspirational book, but I found it very insightful and helped me gain a new perspective on life. I'll also share my favorite quote from the book: "Winners quit all the time. They just quit the right stuff at the right time."
If you have something else you'd like to share—whether it’s a cool fact you just learned, a funny story, or something that’s been bothering you—feel free to comment them down, too! This General Discussion Thread is created just for you, so feel free to engage with your fellow members!
