Hello, dear GrayViners!

How are you doing? Here's my fun question for you today: If you could have any animal as a pet, real or mythical, what would you choose and why? Would you stick with a loyal dog, or go bold with a tiny dragon?

Personally, I’ would really love to have a lion as a furry companion. There’s something about their majestic presence that feels like a kindred spirit to me! I enjoy watching wildlife videos of people caring for lions and I always feel envious. And if I had to pick a mythical creature, a phoenix would be at the top of my list. Imagine witnessing it rise from the ashes, a true symbol of renewal and strength!

I have to keep my dog, Luna; but I would really love to have a pet dragon. One that can be a foot tall or to protect me could become 20 feet tall.

My choice of a pet would also be furry but it would be a domestic cat....a beautiful big-eyed Black cat to fill in for (never replace) my 15 year old "BOO!" who crossed the Rainbow Bridge a few months ago. Can't get too exotic living in a New York City apartment!

That sounds like the perfect dragon—small enough to cuddle but powerful enough to keep you safe when needed! I bet Luna would be curious about her new fire-breathing sibling!
