General Discussion Thread 03.07.2025

Welcome to today’s General Discussion Thread!

Rise and shine, GrayViners! Guess what day it is? That’s right, it's our favorite - Friday! We’ve made it through another week, and I (Ally) hope it’s been as enjoyable for you as it has been for me. Lately, I've been thinking about this quote from Walt Disney: "Growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional." It's a reminder that age is just a number, and despite our years, the youthful spirit within us doesn't have to fade away. So, let me ask you this: What's something you did in your childhood that you still do today? Whether it means dancing to an old tune, indulging in a niche hobby, or a simple tradition you have every weekend, I'd love to hear about it in the comments!

Or, if you have something else you'd like to share—whether it’s a cool fact you just learned, a funny story, or something that’s been bothering you—feel free to comment them down, too! This General Discussion Thread is created just for you, so feel free to engage with your fellow members!

Now, what's on YOUR mind today? 💜

Read...I come from a long line of avid & voracious readers...my mom, her dad and his mom...we all love crime drama but I also like science-fiction and fantasy...a good book can take you places

I have always attended church every Sunday and I continue to enjoy reading Christian novels. Also, I have always had at least one beloved pet.

I'm 70 and still listen to oldies music and dance, especially while doing chores. (makes it less boring. lol)

I'm an only child and my mom was great at coming up with ideas to keep me entertained. She passed on her love of reading so I read....a lot! I also am a big fan of word games and jigsaw puzzles.
