When Jesus ascended into heaven
Thank you for sharing such a powerful moment @Wellman . Witnessing the Ascension must’ve been both awe-inspiring and deeply emotional for those present—seeing Jesus leave them physically but promising something greater to come. Would you have wanted to stand with the disciples as they watched in wonder, or speak with them afterward about how they felt in that moment? It’s one of those events that must’ve changed their faith forever.

At the Tomb, after he is resurrected. Walk in just behind Mary as she looks for Jesus' body lying inside the tomb & seeing the angel sitting there, "He IS not here. "
Thank you for sharing that @Peterbee — what a breathtaking moment to witness firsthand. The awe, confusion, and overwhelming joy that must’ve filled that space as Mary discovered the empty tomb… it’s truly one of the most powerful scenes in all of history. Would you have wanted to speak with the angel yourself, or just quietly observe Mary’s reaction in that life-changing moment? It’s incredible to imagine what it would feel like to be so close to the heart of the resurrection story.

The Titanic! First great ship with class status!
Thank you for sharing @sandramt04 — what a dramatic and historic moment to choose. The Titanic was such a symbol of ambition, elegance, and sadly, tragedy. Being there to witness that mix of innovation and human stories would be unforgettable. Would you want to experience life aboard during its early days at sea, or be there to understand more about what really happened during the sinking? And would you have travelled first class—or maybe explored how all three classes lived on board?

I would have loved to have been in the room when we first walked on the moon---
Thanks for sharing that—such a thrilling moment in modern history! Being in the room, watching that first moon landing live, must’ve been electric—hearing the crackle of the transmission and those famous words: "That's one small step for man..." Would you have wanted to be at Mission Control with all the engineers and scientists, or maybe with a crowd gathered around a black-and-white TV, feeling the shared excitement?

At the birth of Jesus.
Thank you for sharing such a sacred and peaceful moment @KatD . Witnessing the birth of Jesus—the quiet humility of that setting, surrounded by awe and prophecy—would be incredibly moving. Would you have wanted to stand alongside the shepherds as they arrived, or perhaps be one of the travelers following the star? It’s amazing to think how such a humble beginning would go on to change the world.

The 1700s and see my ancestors that fought for our country.
Thank you for sharing @Jesusislord — that’s such a meaningful and personal choice. Seeing your ancestors in the 1700s, especially during a time of such sacrifice and determination, would be an incredible way to connect with your roots and the early spirit of the country. Do you know which side they fought on or what roles they played? It must be fascinating to imagine their daily lives and what values they were fighting to protect.

Signing of Declaration of Independence
Thank you for sharing @Jonni Pettit — such a pivotal and world-changing moment to witness. Being in that room as the Declaration of Independence was signed must’ve felt electric, with tension, hope, and courage all hanging in the air. If you were there, would you have wanted to observe quietly, or join the conversation and hear the debates firsthand? It’s amazing to imagine how those ideas have echoed through generations.

When Jesus walked the earth.
Thank you for sharing that @Teriane — what a beautiful and timeless choice. To walk beside Jesus, see his miracles, and hear his teachings directly would be life-changing beyond words. The incarceration of donald trump for treason !
Thank you for sharing your thoughts @MZM — that's definitely a bold and emotionally charged choice. Moments like that, whether hypothetical or real, reflect how deeply people feel about leadership, justice, and accountability. The inauguration of John F Kennedy.
Thank you for sharing @grayhair76 — that’s such a powerful and inspiring moment in American history. JFK’s inauguration marked a time of great hope and change, and his speech still resonates today. I would love to be able to live when Jesus was preaching and performing miracles.
Thank you for sharing @Gibb — that would be such a moving and awe-inspiring time to witness.
