Talk to the animals. Too many languages spoken with hatred by people.

That’s a powerful thought—it had me thinking about how peole communicate with each other, how it would bring so much peace if only we take extra effort to be kind and try to really understand each other.

Absolutely! That would be so helpful! No more guessing games at the vet—you’d know right away if something was wrong or if they just wanted more treats.

Ohh, I have to agree. Animals already have expressive faces and body language already—just imagine if they could add words to it.

Talk to animals. I love animals, especially my fairly new chihuahua Chloe! I’d love to have a conversation with her! (Though she understands a lot of what I say to her! Smart dog!)

They sure are! No wonder so many people would rather chat with them than with humans!

Talk every language in the world. I understand my animals just fine. They are closer to me than family.

I talk to animals all the time! I wish I could converse with them.

Animals because I love them and am around them all the time. At this point in my life I’m not going anywhere I need to speak or understand another language.

Fair point. It sounds like you have plenty of wonderful company right where you are. What kind of animals are you usually around?

It would be to talk with the animals! I wonder what my dogs are thinking about and if I’m doing everything I can for them. To be like Dr. Doolittle has always been something I wanted. Between this and being invisible…those were my childhood dreams. To understand the needs and desires of animals would be a blessing for both of us. What a wonderful gift

To be able to talk to animals like Dr. Doolittle—that would absolutely be amazing! And for sure, it would be a great gift to have that understanding with animals, especially your pets. Now, when are we going to meet your dogs? We'd love to hear more about them!

Is anything you're particularly curious about? What would you ask first if you have a conversation with an animal?

Definitely talk to animals. I can read my fur babies pretty well. But I would love to hear them talk back to me. Their eyes and mannerisms say a Lot, but I would love to Hear an I Love You Mommy even just once.

To be able to hear back from beloved pets would be a dream come true. An "I love you Mommy" would instantly melt hearts!

Talk to animals and become an advocate for them and find owners of lost pets and see animal abusers proscecuted to the utmost extent possible.

What a wonderful way to use that ability! So many animals could be helped, and lost pets reunited with their families—it would be life-changing for so many.

Now that’s a lovely way to think about it! Just imagine spending the rest of your days having meaningful conversations with the animals around you. Sounds like a life well spent.
