Dean Martin loved his voice
Thank you for sharing @latiki ! Dean Martin had such a smooth, unforgettable voice — it’s no wonder he left such a lasting impression. There’s something timeless about his music that still feels warm and charming today. Do you have a favorite song of his that you never get tired of hearing? Or maybe a particular performance or film that stands out in your memory?

I would love to once again, have the opportunity of dining with Jeff Chandler. Had dinner with him on a train in 1956. His table had the only space for my mom and I and he invited us to sit with him. He was a most gracious host, great conversationalist and as he rose to leave, kissed my hand. I remember telling my mother I would never wash that hand ever again!
Wow — thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful memory @jerry ! What an incredible experience to have dined with Jeff Chandler himself — and on a train, no less! He was such a striking presence on screen, and your story really brings out the gentleman he was off screen, too. Do you remember what you talked about during the meal, or what he was like in person beyond that first impression? And did you ever get to see him in film again after that moment with a new appreciation?

It probably sounds cliché but because I would have some specific questions for him and because I am a believer, I would have to go with Jesus Christ.
Thank you so much for sharing @Jimvk3 — not cliché at all. In fact, Jesus Christ is one of the most meaningful choices anyone could make, especially for someone of faith. The idea of being able to ask him your personal questions face-to-face is incredibly powerful. If you don’t mind sharing, what’s one question you’d be most eager to ask him? Or what kind of guidance would you hope to receive from that conversation?

Robin Williams. He is very funny. I love laughter
Thank you for sharing @Wendy McMahon ! Robin Williams is such a brilliant choice — his humor was unmatched, and yet he had such depth and heart in everything he did. He brought so much joy to the world. Is there a particular movie or performance of his that always makes you laugh no matter how many times you’ve seen it? Or maybe a moment where his humor helped lift your spirits?

I would love to have dinner with Morgan Freeman. I find him very fascinating and interesting. He has a very soothing voice and can tell some extremely great stories.
Thank you so much for sharing @MsRusty ! Morgan Freeman is such a captivating choice — there’s something about his presence and that iconic voice that makes every story he tells feel profound and memorable. Is there a particular film, narration, or even an interview where he really drew you in? And if you had the chance to share a meal with him, what kind of stories would you hope he’d tell — about acting, life lessons, or something else?

Jesus for sure❤️. He would have so much to say about what’s going on in the world!
Thank you for sharing @Saltymermaid3* — that’s such a heartfelt and powerful choice. You’re right, having Jesus at the table would be unlike any other conversation. With everything happening in the world today, it’s comforting to imagine what wisdom, compassion, and guidance he might offer. If you could ask him just one question about today’s world, what would it be? Or would you simply want to listen?

Thomas Jefferson, and Leonardo Da Vinci. They were great thinkers, inventors and creators. It would be wonderful to listen to them discuss ideas and creativity. Ask them to compare their thinking and creative methods and processes.
Thank you so much for sharing @gsrtexas — what an inspired pairing! Both Thomas Jefferson and Leonardo da Vinci were visionaries in their own right, and imagining them in conversation together is truly fascinating. The blend of politics, art, science, and invention would make for an unforgettable dinner. If you could add yourself to that table, what would you be most curious to hear them talk about? And do you think their ways of thinking would complement each other — or spark a bit of debate?

Abraham Lincoln. I think he must have been an interesting person aside from being a great President and humanitarian.
Thank you for sharing @valyowell — Abraham Lincoln is such a compelling choice. His leadership through one of the most difficult periods in history, paired with his humility and wisdom, makes him endlessly fascinating. Is there a particular moment from his life or presidency that stands out to you most? And if you had the chance to speak with him, would you ask about his time in office, or get to know the man behind the title?

I would like to dine with Broc Purdy - Quarterback for the 49ers and/or Travis Kelce - plays for the Chiefs.
Thanks for sharing @nanakay ! Both great choices — Brock Purdy and Travis Kelce are exciting players to watch, and they each bring their own style and energy to the game. That would definitely be a fun and lively dinner! Would you be more interested in hearing about what it’s like behind the scenes in the NFL, or chatting about their personal journeys to the top? And are you more of a 49ers fan, a Chiefs supporter — or just love the game?

Jesus, I have so many questions
Thank you so much for sharing @Gibb — choosing Jesus is deeply meaningful, and you're certainly not alone in wanting to sit down with him. The idea of being able to ask your questions directly must feel both comforting and profound. If you don’t mind sharing, is there one question in particular that feels most pressing to you right now? Or would you just want to sit and listen?

Jesus, because he dued for me!
Thank you for sharing @NancyCL! Choosing Jesus because of the personal sacrifice he made speaks so deeply to your faith and gratitude. If you could share a meal with him, would you want to ask questions, seek guidance, or simply be in his presence?

Easy answer for me. I chose to share a meal with Jesus. I would loved to be with Him and the 12 disciples in the Upper Room
Thank you so much for sharing @Gayle B. — what a beautiful and meaningful choice. Imagining yourself in the Upper Room with Jesus and the disciples is such a powerful vision, especially with all the emotion and significance of that moment. Is there something in particular you’d want to witness or ask during that meal? Or would you just want to take in the experience and the wisdom being shared?

I would love to dine with Jesus to thank him for dieying for me and others.
Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt response @NancyCL . Wanting to dine with Jesus simply to thank him is incredibly moving — it speaks volumes about your gratitude and faith. If you could sit with him for just a moment, what would you hope he’d say in return? Or would being in his presence be enough?
