Hey GrayViners!

Alright, time to fess up...

What’s the funniest or most mischievous thing you did as a kid? 😈😂

We’re talking harmless chaos, creative sneakiness, or just flat-out funny stuff that still makes you laugh (or cringe) to this day.

Maybe you “accidentally” glued your sibling’s action figures together…
Maybe you tried to bake cookies and nearly burned down the kitchen…
Maybe you genuinely believed that hiding under the bed made you invisible.

Whatever it was—we want to hear it! No judgment here, just a bunch of folks ready for a good chuckle and some nostalgic mischief.

I’ll go first: When I was 8, I tried to fake being sick by holding a thermometer up to a lightbulb. Nailed a 107° reading, got caught immediately, and still had to go to school—with a lecture about spontaneous combustion. Worth it? Honestly, yes.

Your turn! What little rascal moment still lives rent-free in your memory? Please share them below!

Cheers!
Blue 💙

When I was around 3 years old, I hid out in an old building and went to sleep, making my parents franic where I was and if I was ok.

When about 12-13, went “clicking” with friends and brothers. Tape a fishing weight attached to line on big picture windows neighbors. Makes a light tapping noise. Takes them a while to figure out where noise is from. Then we pulled hard to release tape and reeled in while we ran away. More fun than ding dong ditch. As I age, I get the annoyance now. Hope I’ll be a good sport if local kids discover the “Fun”.

I was the oldest and seemed to be the trouble maker. My brother and i were out doors digging up fish worms. I washed them off, rolled them in sand and told him to eat them as they were good. Yup, he did. I know, yuck. Then took mud and put around his eyes and he told Mom i had blacked his eyes. Just kids i guess.

As a young teenager, I was forever pulling pranks on people. We had a newspaper person that drove a route, throwing the newspaper out in everyone’s driveway or yard. My daddy enjoyed reading the paper, so I had this idea one day. I got a big sheet of paper and in large letters wrote, “There Is No News Today”, and I rolled it up and wrapped a rubber band around it, just like they would do the newspaper. i had previously gotten the newspaper and hid it. When My daddy went out to get the paper, he opened the rolled up sheet of paper and read it. He walked back to the house and said, “ I can’t believe they would drive their route to throw these out to let people know there was no news.” I couldn’t contain myself and started laughing. He wasn’t surprised to find out that was just another one of my pranks.

We had a substitute teacher that was not very swift. I brought a spool of thread to the class and passed it around the circumference of the room. When the teacher went to walk up any isle, she couldn’t.

Another time I took the kitchen sprayer in the sink and put a rubber band around it. I faced the spray towards the fiddle of the sink. When you turned the water on, it sprayed you. My one kid screamed at my other kid and it was me. It was Aprils fools day!

When I was old enough to drive I picked up some friends. We went to a CHEAP discount store and bought many packs of toilet paper rolls. It was after 11pm and we TP’d a neighborhood of another of our friends. It was not appreciated because it rained hard that night and people had quite a job cleaning up their trees and lawn. The urge to do it again in some other neighborhood passed quickly. 🤭
