Happy Tuesday, GrayViners!

We’re taking a trip down memory lane today: What was your favorite subject in school, and what was your least favorite? 📚✏️

Maybe you loved getting lost in a good book during English class, or found your stride solving equations in math. Or perhaps gym class was the best part of your day, and geometry, not so much. 😅

We’d love to hear what lit you up and what had you watching the clock. Share your stories in the comments—you might discover some surprising kindred spirits!

Can’t wait to read your responses!

With love,
Sophia 💓

My favorite was math, algebra I had high nineties in them. Had 80’s with geometry and trigonometry.

I hated history- could not remember all those dates and facts.

1. Loved English, but one particular teacher I would have liked to have been able to take out back of the barn and come back alone.
2. Loved bookkeeping because I taught it since the assigned teacher knew nothing about it even though he was the business teacher. (My mother was a bookkeeper.)
3. liked Forensic science: almost got arrested when I brought in some oregano made in Mexico. Guess the rest.

1. Hated PE, except for one specific class when I embarrassed all the football team members that were present. They thought mooning the females was a smart thing to do. My reaction...
2. Disliked recess. spent most of that time in the nurse's office.
3. Disliked Communication/Speech class. Teacher was a bully. Gave an informative speech on Sign Language demonstrating the language as I talked. The teacher yelled at me to stop moving my hands and tried to give me an F! All my speeches were treated in similar ways. My descriptive speech was too specific; my persuasive speech on the wildlife I grew up around had the class wanting to see pictures. Teacher told me I was lying!

I loved typing and shorthand, also English. I became an Executive Secretary until I retired. I owe it to my high school courses, especially typing and shorthand. After graduating, I decided I wanted to be a secretary.

My favorite was English. I had the same teacher in 10-12th. I did well! All of my music classes were great!
My least favorite was Geometry. I could never prove that congruent angles were congruent! Argh! Another reason I didn’t like Geometry was because the teacher was a pervert who sat the prettiest girls in the shortest skits across the front rows. He did that with all of his classes. Let’s just say that I was nearer the back of the classroom! Lol
I hated school. I graduated in January, a half year early with more than enough credits. I needed to get the heck out of Dodge!
