I would pay off my daughter and granddaughters cars. Help one of the granddaughter with college, take them on a trip to Jamacia. enjoy family time as I am older.
That’s such a sweet plan. Helping your girls, making memories in Jamaica, and just being together sounds like a dream come true.

I would try and help as many needy animals I could. I'm not interested in jewelry or travel or anything like that. It makes you feel good to help something. I love animals so much and there are thousands in need.
You’ve got such a kind soul. Not everyone thinks about helping others first, especially animals who need a voice. That kind of care really says a lot about you.

I would first buy plane tickets to Phoenix to see my folks and have my Dad go with me to buy a car, then a house. Then I would pay off my debt.
I love how your first thought was family. That trip to see your folks and having your dad help you pick out a car, that’s something you’d remember forever.

I'd buy a very small RV, pull my small Jeep behind and visit every where I've always wanted to. And adopt a very small dog.
That actually sounds amazing. I can just picture you out on the road with your Jeep and your pup, seeing places you’ve always wanted to visit. Pure freedom.

Wow, that would be my first words. I would buy a house not big. It had a little mother-in-law house in the back. I’d let my son and my grandson live in my big house and I would live in the house in the back. I have so many dreams it’s hard to say all of them. I would buy a small place in Pennsylvania, where all my family lives and where my husband is buried and I would use that for something if I wanted to to go back and see everybody everything I have and everything I can do would be for my grandson and my son. They are the most important people in my life.
This one made me tear up a little. You’ve thought about your family so deeply, it’s more than just houses and money. It’s love, memory, and wanting to give them something meaningful. That’s really special.

First I would tithe it to my church! I would like to take two cruises one to Alaska and one touring the New England states. Now to practicality, I would pay off my car, but I would get a brand new car so I wouldn’t have to worry about it breaking down then I would buy a double wide trailer and put it on a piece of property back home where my family lives, and after that use it for philanthropic purposes.
There’s something really grounding about your answer. A bit of fun, a bit of security, and then using the rest to give back. That’s a solid way to move through life.

I’d pay off as much debt possible for family and hope there’d be a few bucks leftover for a family vacation.
Helping your family like that, and then maybe squeezing in a little break together sounds like such a real and generous plan.

I would love to win. But I never win anything. But I would be able to take care for my husband who has A.L.S.
That last line really hit me. I’m sorry you’re going through something so hard. You deserve some good luck and comfort. I’m really hoping things ease up for you and your husband.

After reading everyone's answers I feel a bit embarrassed to say mine. I'd buy a huge t-bone steak and a pound of jumbo shrimp. I know... but in my defense I never had breakfast or lunch! LOL After my tummy was happy and full, I'd go the route of everyone else and do the bills, house, and car thing.
Honestly? That’s one of my favorite answers. Sometimes joy really does start with a steak and some shrimp, especially on an empty stomach! I smiled reading that

I would tear down my house and build a new one on the same spot and design it myself
I love that you’d stay on the same spot and just make it your own. There’s something really grounding about that. You’d get to keep your roots and build something new at the same time.

I would love to be able to build a home that is handicap accessible throughout the home. My husband and I are in wheelchairs and we have a son with autism. Nothing ridiculously fancy, just a home. We have never been able to buy a house because of our limited income. A home with room for a small garden and for dogs. We have always had a fur baby in our lives. Would love to be off grid and never have to pay another electric bill! We currently live in the county that pays the highest electric bills in the COUNTRY! Oh, and trees would be delightful!
Your whole answer just stuck with me. It’s not about luxury—it’s about having a space that truly works for your family and gives you some breathing room. A garden, your pups, no electric bills... I really hope you get that kind of peace. You deserve it.

A cruise around the world sounds amazing. So many sights, so many stories waiting to happen. Are there a few places you’ve always dreamed of seeing first?
First would be Germany as I have relatives there. Than Spain and France as I have heard some nice things about them.
I was to Istanbul and Ephesus Turkey, Dubrovnik Croatia, Venice Italy on a cruise and it was nice.
