Hello there, dear GrayViners!

We’re halfway through the week and it's the perfect time for a little daydreaming. When I was a kid, I wasn’t a big fan of my name. “Emerald” felt far too unusual for an 8-year-old, and I often wished I could swap it for something more common. I remember liking the name Sabrina because of a cartoon I loved watching. 😅

Over time, I’ve grown to love my own name—but it got me thinking… If you could rename yourself for just one day, what name would you choose? Share it in the comments below!

I was actually named after the actress Shirley Temple. I never liked my name and to this day I still don’t. I always wanted a name that wasn’t so common. I think I would change my name to Tatiana, but at this late date, that’s not going to happen.

Christina is my given name. I have not liked it at all. In school I was called Chris. At home Tina. I love the name Jeanne, not Jean, but Jeanie
