Hey GrayViners!

Isn’t it amazing how a song can instantly transport you to another time and place? A few notes and suddenly you’re back in the school gym at a dance, cruising around with friends, or sitting by the radio waiting for your favorite tune to play. Music has a funny way of holding onto memories tighter than just about anything else.

So here’s the question: What song brings you back to your high school days? Was it something you danced to, sang with your buddies, or listened to when you were nursing a teenage heartbreak?

As for me, it’s the punk pop songs from a couple of decades back—the ones we sang at the top of our lungs during those carefree days. In fact, I had a little sing-along just last night, and it took me right back to those moments when life felt wide open and full of possibility.

Now it’s your turn—share your song in the forum! Let’s build the ultimate throwback playlist together and relive those good old days, one melody at a time.

Cheers!
Blue 💙

"More Than A Feeling" by Boston. It takes me back to 1976, riding around on double dates with my boyfriend Bob, his cousin Robbie, and my best friend Ranee. Two years later, Bob and I were married, and still are today. We like to joke about not only do we still LOVE each other, but we actually LIKE each other. LOL

Turn the Page by Bob Seger. I was high as a kite and driving along with my friend and singing it oh so loudly. And yes, I inhaled lol.

Thanks for sharing that classic @GaryBlake ! “Crystal Blue Persuasion” has such a peaceful, hopeful vibe — perfect for reminiscing about those carefree high school days. 🎶 Do you remember where you first heard it — maybe at a school dance or on the radio with friends?

What a wonderful memory — thank you for sharing @Bren59 ! ❤️ “More Than a Feeling” is such an iconic song, and it sounds like it holds a special place in your story. How lovely that you and Bob are still together after all these years — and still like each other too! 😄 Do you two still listen to Boston or other ’70s classics together?
