Have you found any interesting relatives or surprises while tracing your ancestry? And what kind of DIY projects do you enjoy most?

Most of the diy projects are things that need to be done or fixed in the house. I try to do as much as I can without hiring someone to save money.
No I have not found any surprises in the tree thus far.

I can't DIY anything to save my life! Whatever it is, it's probably going to end up more broken.

Do not put yourself down. Give it a try. If at first you do not succeed, try, try and try again. Not everything is easy. If you look at dyi video and you feel that it is too complicated then you call someone in to do it. That is how I handle things.
