This monumental American sculpture honors US presidents and was carved into the side of a mountain in the Black Hills region. It took over a decade to complete and is often visited during patriotic holidays. Can you guess where it is?

Crazy Horse Memorial is practically across the highway. My favorite in the neighborhood is a toss between Reptile Gardens and Black Hills Regional Eye Institute. (BHREI) because I had my transplant there. But don't forget Devils Tower and the mammoth site

The answer is MOUNT RUSHMORE 25 miles southwest of Rapid City, South Dakota. We’ve been there several times over the years while we were both serving in the Air Force in North Dakota, for 20 years!
