Hello

Hi, I'm Norma, I'm 80 years old and live on the Olympic Península In Washington State. I have some health issues but try to do what I want. I took a 17 day cruise through the Panama Canal at Thanksgiving, with stops in Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama and Aruba. First cruise and I had the time of my life!

Was it hard to get around, walking?
No, I was able to get around pretty well with using a cane part of the time. I have bad knees but, surprisingly, they didn't bother me much on the trip. Maybe the weather? But the land tours didn't involve a lot of walking (senior group) and what walking we did was usually on flat, if uneven ground. I would totally encourage anyone to take a cruise. I went with a small group (10 seniors plus a guide) where we were free to do our own thing once we were on the ship o it was great!
