Hungry Vampire Bats
Two vampire bats are hanging from the ceiling of their cave, just chatting away.
One says, “Man, I’m starving. I’m gonna head out and find something fresh. Be back in a few.”
The other bat gives a lazy nod and goes back to staring at the wall.
Barely five minutes later, the first bat swoops back in—face completely smeared with fresh, dripping blood.
The second bat’s eyes go wide. “Whoa!! You were gone for five minutes! Where’d you find all that blood so fast?”
The first bat licks his lips and says, “You know that big tree just past the cave entrance?”
“Yeah?" his buddy says.
“I didn’t.”
