Hello again. I am a 73 year old (just turned earlier this March) former teacher and chef (not at the same time, though), and have taught elementary special education, high school students in Turkey (Turks, not Americans), and Native American children on a reservation in Arizona. I was born in Georgia but raised in Kentucky, and I'm back home in that small Kentucky town I grew up in.

I am not a world-class writer by any means, but I do write. A few short stories based on my personal experiences, and a novel at present. Nothing has been published (except for a book back in the nineties about storytelling (I was a professional storyteller for a while back when I was teaching), but I write mostly because it's the only art form I am good at.

I have some very close friends, but I enjoy meeting others, too, and new friendships if they happen.
