I just join today also. you sound a little like me, I haven't been diagnosed with dementia, but I feel like I have it, I use to be good at math, I first lost that now I have trouble spelling words. I can read them okay but can't spell them. and speaking to people... it is just jumbled up. My mind feels alright, I just can't get the right words to come out. I will be here if you want to write
