Missed Stop
An older gentleman was riding the bus one afternoon when a young mother sat down beside him and began trying to feed her baby. The little one wasn’t having it, so she gently coaxed, “Come on now, eat up—or I’ll have to hand it to this nice man right here.”
A few minutes later, the baby still wouldn’t budge. She tried again: “Sweetheart, if you don’t start eating, I’m going to have to let this kind man have it instead.”
Finally, the flustered fellow turned red, threw up his hands, and said, “For heaven’s sake, kid—decide already! I was supposed to get off this bus four stops ago!”
