Quote Of The Day 04.18.25

"You can cut all the flowers but you cannot keep spring from coming." - Pablo Neruda

As they say, change is the only constant thing in life. But even so, things get (admittedly) difficult to manage with how fast life is moving, to the point that we sometimes feel like we can't keep up. So, GrayViners, I ask you this: How have YOU gracefully accepted changes in your life? Share your wisdom in the comments below—I'm looking forward to all of your messages. 💜

I tell myself i am on my last train ride, relax and enjoy the day. Yesterday is gone, tomorrow not here yet. At times a struggle but do grateful for what i have

Problems; illness; worry - all part of life, but look for the positives; they are always there, too. Think of the good things, and know it could be worse. Live for today.

Thank you for sharing @Arkie98 — it’s such a peaceful and grounding mindset to have. I love the image of the “last train ride” as a reminder to be present and find joy in each day. 🌅 You mentioned it’s sometimes a struggle—was there a particular change in your life that helped shape this perspective? Or has it been something that’s grown over time?

Thank you for sharing such a resilient outlook @evelyn44 . It’s true—life doesn’t spare us from the tough stuff, but choosing to focus on the positives can make all the difference. 🌤️ Was there a specific life experience that helped you adopt this mindset? Or has it always come naturally to you?
