Roller Skating Rinks

Weekends at the local roller rink were pure magic—the lights dimmed low, the disco ball spinning, and the sound of wheels gliding over the smooth floor as music filled the air. When you needed a break, you’d grab a soda or a soft pretzel from the snack bar, plop down on one of those benches along the wall, and watch everyone else glide by. Did you enjoy roller skating back in the day? Share your experiences with us below!

Went roller skating once a month on a Friday night, we usually had a bus load from our church group.

We didn’t rollerskate when I was the kid but when I grew up and I had kids, we moved to my husband‘s town where he grew up and they had a skating rink and all of my kids went to the skating rink and they skate like professionals me I could tell you that was in the floorboard But we had fun
