The price of All USPS services have been creeping up for many years . I had a first class piece of mail , and I had no stamps , I went to the Post Office to mail it ,at their service counter , $.73 cents to mail a first class letter to Arizona !!!!!!!! Pres. Trump had nothing to do with that price . Come on,Guys !!!!!! Stop the Politics !!!!!!!

The Post Office has been running huge deficits for years. It has been badly managed and the service is often bad at best. And none of that had anything to do with President Trump.
Talk of privatizing the Postal Service is not new. With the advent of the internet so much of what we do and how we receive things has changed. A great deal of what we receive in the mail today is what we used to refer to as "Junk Mail". Finally, the cost to send packages via USPS is often more than private services. And the delivery is far worse. So scaring people into believing that the Postal Service is "All That" and needs to be left alone, is a fools game. It's the 21st century not the 1930's...

Bullshit! The post office has been losing money year after year. So obviously whatever they're doing or not doing isn't working! Trump is doing exactly what we voted him in to do. We have a trillion dollar debt lady! Can you tell me honestly that there isn't fraud, waste and abuse in our government? And we are a republic not a democracy, look it up. Supporting the rich? The troubles of the post office came when they had to adjust for their pension fund and take full responsibility for it. That was a government decision. I worked for them as a letter carrier, and I worked hard. My chiro said I was in the best physical shape when I worked there, but it was strenuous work, the mail volume then was higher than now. If I remember correctly the postmaster general that just left was a trump supporter and was placed there by trump. The newer generation is not interested it seems in jobs like this as it is a committment to work in all kinds of weather. During my stint, we even had to take on all the UPS packages while they were on strike.
