You all brought the charm, the memories, and the perfect tunes last week—but one timeless melody soared above the rest!
Before we dive into our winner, can we just say how much we love seeing your suggestions every Sunday? Whether it’s a toe-tapper from the ‘50s or a soulful ballad from your first slow dance, every pick carries a story—and that’s what makes this community so special.
Now for the moment you’ve been waiting for…
This week’s Sunday Classics winner is: "Fly Me To The Moon" by Frank Sinatra, as suggested by GrayViner @Gayle B. !

What a choice. Smooth, romantic, and still cool as ever, this 1964 classic has become one of Sinatra’s most beloved hits.
But here’s something you may not know: “Fly Me to the Moon” wasn’t originally Sinatra’s song—it was written by Bart Howard in 1954 under the title “In Other Words”. It was Ol’ Blue Eyes, backed by Count Basie’s orchestra and arranged by the legendary Quincy Jones, who gave it that unmistakable swing.
And believe it or not, this tune was played on the moon—the Apollo 10 astronauts took a recording with them on their mission, making it quite literally out of this world.
Now it’s your turn—drop your favorite golden oldie in the comments below! The song with the most reactions will be crowned next week’s Sunday Classic and featured in the newsletter.
Ready, set, reminisce!
Cheers!
Blue
