Sunday Classics 08.03.2025
Hey GrayViners!
We're back with your weekly dose of musical memories, where you get to take the spotlight by sharing the classics that still make you sing in the kitchen or drum on the steering wheel.
Last week’s Sunday Classics had some cool tunes in the mix, but the clear fan favorite—thanks to GrayViner @NIBOR0 and a bunch of thumbs-ups—was... “Bring Me Some Water” by Melissa Etheridge!

This powerhouse tune was Melissa’s debut single back in 1988, and let me tell you—it came in hot. The song blends bluesy rock with raw emotion, written in just one night when Melissa was feeling the sting of heartbreak. It became her first hit and remains one of her most iconic songs, often opening her live shows to this day.
And fun fact? She recorded it in the same session as Like the Way I Do—not too shabby for a first record!
Now it’s your turn! Drop your favorite classic in the comments below—anything that still gives you goosebumps or gets your toes tappin’. The suggestion with the most reactions will be featured in next week’s newsletter.

Let’s keep the good tunes rollin’!
Cheers!
Blue
