The Road That Keeps Going
The United States holds a remarkable title: it has the longest road network in the world, stretching more than 4 million miles.
To put that in perspective, that’s more than the distance to the Moon and back. Not once. Not twice. Eight times.
These roads connect every corner of the country, from backcountry byways to bustling interstates. They carry groceries and grandchildren, dreams and deliveries, tracing the story of a nation on the move.
And yet, most of us see only a tiny sliver of it.

What’s the most memorable road you’ve ever traveled? Was it across a state, or just down the lane from your childhood home? Share it in the comments. We’d love to hear where the road took you.
If you have some jaw-dropping facts to share, don't be shy—send them our way!
