Nope, it’s not a fancy cheese—but it is all about the fancy life! If someone calls something “boujee,” they mean it’s super stylish, high-class, or just plain extra. Think sparkling jewelry, luxury coffee, or that friend who brings their own satin napkin to dinner.
It comes from the word bourgeoisie but don’t worry, you don’t need to be in a history class to use it. Just imagine anything that screams "glamorous", and you’ve got the right idea.
So, next time you treat yourself to something fabulous, just smile and say, “I guess I’m a little boujee today!”
