Would You Rather? 05.13.2025

Hello GrayViners,

Here’s a little something to think about this afternoon: Would you rather always shop in-store, or only be able to order things online? 🛍️💻

There’s something special about browsing shelves, feeling the fabric, and maybe running into a neighbor by the bakery section. But I’ll admit, the ease of clicking through a few items and having them delivered right to the door is pretty tempting.

So tell me—are you more of an in-person shopper, or do you prefer the comfort and quiet of online browsing? I’d love to hear what suits you best.

Take care,
Sophia 💖

I prefer in-store but there are reasons for shopping online, such as store doesn't have what I want in stock and too much time to order/receive. Also love just waling around looking. Who knows, might find something I've been looking for for a long time. Or, just nice to have.

Totally I want to shop online! We can’t drive anymore and have issues with mobility. It’s a no brainer!
So far shipping has been minimal and aren’t charged for returns. Win win! 👍🏼

I definitely prefer to shop in a store. I want to feel what I'm buying. No guessing about the color. Bring back my stores.

I only like to shop in store. I want to feel material in clothing along with trying clothes on. What may look good on a model may not on you. As for food ,I can compare prices and ingredients. I need to sit in a chair or lay on a mattress to see if it’s for me.

i want to go to store. Need to see and check what i am buying. If needed can try on before buying. On line , don't fit have to have hassle of taking back . Wan to be in control of what i purchase.

If we continue shopping on line, we won't have any physical stores to shop in. Yes on occasion I do order an item on line if I can't find it locally but places are going out of business left. also when people go shopping they usually go eat at a restaurant, coffee shop, etc. We are running the small proprietor out of business.
Plus people are more in active thus getting larger every day due to no exercise... The world is changing but not for the better........

Depends....
If buying dry or canned goods, I can order and pick up. If buying fresh veggies, meat, dairy or refrigerated goods, buy it in person in store. Hard to trust other's judgement.

I am disabled so I shop online quite often. I enjoy in store shopping when I shop with my adult daughters. We have a good time. I like trying things on

If I am getting tops I can do that on line. If I need pants it just easier going to the store as I have to try it on because I have long legs and am skinny so depending on the manufacturer I take a junior size 0 - 3.

I like going out to the stores for clothes, simply because I like to touch, feel the material but mostly because the sizes vary from designer to designer and need to Try clothes on before buying and I like the interaction with people. Home Goods is also a favorite place to browse and get ideas.
Shopping online is also great for the convenience and usually quick shipping.

So having both options works best for me.
