Quote of the Day - 08.31.2025
“The longer I live, the more beautiful life becomes.”
— Frank Lloyd Wright
— Frank Lloyd Wright
This line captures something we can all nod our heads to. With time, the little things seem sweeter: the laughter of family around the table, the quiet comfort of a familiar chair, the way a sunrise feels more like a blessing than just the start of another day. Aging brings its challenges, sure—but it also gives us sharper eyes for beauty, and deeper gratitude for the moments we once might have hurried past.
It’s a wonderful reminder that life doesn’t lose its shine as we grow older—in many ways, it becomes richer, fuller, and more precious.
So let’s open it up, GrayViners: What has become more beautiful to you with time? Is it the bonds of family, the rhythm of daily life, or the simple joy of waking up to another morning?
Share your reflections below—we’d love to hear what life has taught you to see with new eyes.
Cheers!
Blue

Waking up each morning and appreciating life’s full spectrum, from the highs to the lows, is such a powerful way to live. I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your siblings at such a young age — no doubt that shaped the way you see each new day as a gift. Do you find there are certain little everyday things that bring you the most joy now, the kind that perhaps you might have overlooked when you were younger?

Your cat sounds like quite the character — what a sweet (and determined!) way to start the day. Pairing that with coffee and some quiet time sounds like such a comforting little ritual. Has your cat always been this playful in the mornings, or is it a habit that’s developed over time?
