General Discussion Thread 06.24.2025
Hello, wonderful GrayViners! Sophia here, hoping to brighten your day with a bit of light conversation.
Do you have a superstition you still follow, even if you’re not quite sure you believe in it?
Some habits stay with us over the years—quiet gestures we make, not out of logic, but out of something else. Maybe it’s a way to feel a little more at ease, or maybe it’s just how we were raised. Whatever the reason, these old superstitions can become oddly reassuring.
As for me? I always knock on wood when I say something I’m hoping for. I can’t say I believe it changes anything, but I still do it. It just feels right.
I’d enjoy hearing your thoughts. What’s a superstition you still follow—and why do you think it’s stayed with you?
With warmth and a gentle knock on wood,
Sophia
