Hey, hey, dear GrayViners! The weekend’s almost here! Do you have any plans?

I’ll be sticking close to my desk. It’s where I work during the day, then I switch to journaling, crafts, or a cozy movie or book at night. You could say I’m pretty attached to this little corner of the house. How about you? What’s your favorite spot at home where you spend most of your time? Tell me all about it in the comments!

I love to sit in my kitchen. It is very open and airy and bright with the sun shining all day. It is also quiet and peaceful.

Being a 75 year old retired and an unattached male, I spend the majority of my time in my den/computer room. Since the monthly cost of cable television and interent service became so extremely high, I have withdrawn from the world of television. I reply on the internet to bring the outside world into my home. I receive my daily newletters, emails, news, sports, weather, movies and some of the new popular streaming entertainment offerings along with Facebook all on my desktop computer. I am surrounded by four walls which are adorned with a vintage 1960's 12 inch round Simplex office wall clock, photos, pictures, artwork, political campaign posters and a custom framed original August 16, 1954 first issue of Sports Illustrated.

My bedroom. I’m retired now but for 20 years I wished I could just stay at home and not go in to the office. My wish has come true.

I spend the daytime on my couch in front of my laptop.. I have a large orange trunk my Mom antiqued a long time ago and my laptop is at a good height sitting on it. I watch a series show on TV, right now it's The Killing.. In the evening I go to my room where my craft table is set up and do some diamond paiinting. I've framed a couple of them but haven't sold anything yet.

I spend early morning watching the news on tv in my living room while reading emails and playing a few computer games. Then I do projects, cleaning out, or cleaning the house besides if there are any doctor appointments .

My favorite place in my apartment is my bedroom. I spend more time there than anywhere. It also keeps my living room clean & picked up in case someone stops by.

Due to our mobility issues and not having a couch, I spend too much time in my rocking recliner. My husband has his beside mine. I’m not sure it would be much different otherwise. Maybe. Who knows.

In days past I wanted to add that sports were a happy place for both of us. He was a professional racket ball player and Little League coach. I played Softball for the Air Force women’s team. Things have certainly changed! ☮️🇺🇸
